Monthly subscription boxes have been around for a while now, but like always I am late to the party for giving these a go.
There are quite a few but I thought for my first one I would opt for a well known service by Birch Box.
For the cost I thought this would be worth trying, so after I signed up and parted with £10 I waited for my box to be delivered. I took a few days but I did order this over New Years so the extra few days was to be expected.
The box arrived via Hermes delivery courier and came mid morning so lucky didn’t need to wait in all day for it!
I had seen pictures on the website of what to expect, but as this was my first box from Birch Box I still was keen to see it for myself.
The products come in a cotton draw string bag inside the pictured red box. Thumbs up for the packaging.
I’ve not tried the products yet though I wanted to share what you get for your £10.
The products I got for December are:
Ciate London full size Fierce Flicks eyeliner RRP £15
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye mascara sample size (not available until March 2017)
Benefit Cosmetics Benetint sample size
Leighton Denny Nail Polish in shade Just Perfect full size
Amie skincare New Leaf Deep Pore Exfoliating Polish sample size
I would say this is value for money, as even though some of the products are sample size, the fact there are two full size products means I got more than £10 worth of products.
The box it comes in can also be used as storage, so another bargain!
Also if you follow this link https://www.birchbox.co.uk/invite/ps4xc you’ll receive £5 off your first Birch Box!
I’m looking forward to January’s box as I have seen it has a Nuxe product in it which I am keen to try.
Also after 3 months subscription I get £5 off in their online shop and after 6 months I get £10 off their shop. So very reasonable!
Look out later this month for me revealing what this months box contains,
Love and hugs,
P.S. This is not a sponsored post!
