How to style denim and jumpers

Hello! Apologies for the absence in posting. It’s been rather busy at work. Working in retail this time of year tends to be go, go go.
But I have a fashion post for you today! Now I do not rate myself to have much fashion credentials but I thought I would share my standard out of work look at the moment.
As it’s been getting pretty nippy I have been finding comfort in denim and jumpers. Below I have pieces to share with you.

I recently saw that Coconut Lane had a new range of sweaters. And if you use this code abbiesmusings20 on their website you can enjoy 20% off your order.
I chose a pink sweater (naturally!) with Nap Queen on the front. I chose it in a small size and would say it comes up slightly big but then I think I will style it as slouchy.
I’ve teamed it with my Mom jeans from Primark, finished with my Primark glasses.
I’ve also shown a Tanya Burr eye shadow palette and Tanya Burr lip gloss. Also I have featured note pads and pens from Homesense.

This look I have styled my blush colour Primark jumper. This is high necked, slouchy and sits past my bottom. It;s really soft and such a gorgeous colour.

With this I have my Sainsbury’s jeans. These are slim legged and feature small knicks in the denim for a slightly different finish. these also have zips going up the ankle. For £18 I think the detail is great.

I also chose my metallic pink trainers from Bershka to complete the look. And to help with keeping warm (in the UK it’s pretty damn cold at the mo) my checked scarf from Miss Selfridge. A top it off, some jewelry, I chose my Pandora charm bracelet and and Zoella fragance and Tanya Burr lip gloss.

This final look is a beige bobble jumper from Matalan and was only £14. I recently got these slim leg jeans from River Island in the sale and apart from the great fit it has a flower print on the right leg.

I’ve added my New Look tan boots and red bobble hat.

I also have shown my Philosophy fragrance and Revlon matt lip gloss.

I’d love to know if you have any winter wardrobe staples- what keeps you cosy and warm in the cold weather?

Thanks for reading and here’s to keeping warm!

Lot’s of love,

Thanks Lou. Not normally a fan of the cold weather but at least it means can wear snuggly jumpers 😊
