Hello all and apologies for the delay of getting this post out. As you may have seen from my previous posts I am posting a post each week of my OOTD.
Yesterday was a true summers day for me. Myself and my husband Dan went to our local Sainsburys and stocked up on some BBQ food and then headed over to my mums as she has a lovely garden, perfect for a BBQ.
As I am off work this week on annual leave I wanted to make the most of this sunny weather, especially as it looks like it may take a turn at the end of the week.
After a lovely BBQ, myself, my sister, Dan and my mum talk a walk along the local harbour which is protected nature reserve. It is a well known spot for bird watchers and dog walkers alike. I used to visit the harbour when I was a child but as adult life does, it takes over and walks like this are more treasured, well for me at least.
We walked along the harbour edge, which was idyllic. Perfect late afternoon weather, clear blue sky and just the sound of the sea birds and a slight breeze. Bliss.
Whilst I was out I did get Dan to take some photo’s for my outfit of the day, which is below.
As it was forcast to be a warm day I opted for my light wash distressed denim shorts from Next (which I customised by unpicking the rolled up hems to expose the frayed hems). I them teamed it with an broderie anglaise sleeveless top from Matalan. Teamed with my ever faithful white Converses and my recent charity shop find, a black chain handle bag.
This was an ideal outfit as the looseness of the top was very airy!
Check out my next blog post where I have my OOTD for Wednesday 🙂
Thank you for reading!
Lot’s of love,
