Spring Styles

Spring has finally sprung! The daffodils are out, the evenings are just that bit lighter and it's still freezing, but you can't have it all!

And a new season means to me, a new reason to get some new clothes! I tend to love the fashion around this time of year as it's full of pastel shades, which is so me.

As I'm going away to London this weekend, I felt it is the perfect excuse to get some new clothes to wear. On the Saturday I am going to a Derren Brown show (love him!) so wanted to look smart-ish.
The following day I am going to the Glamour Beauty Festival. If you want to see what last years event was like you can find out at my blog here.

So the first look I have pulled together is this one below...

I love this look. It's casual, with a hint of pink and a bit of sparkle. The jumper is currently £20 from Topshop, the t-shirt which reads 'I have nothing to say' is from Bershka for a mere £4.99, the star patch ripped jeans are from Glamorous at Asos for £22 and the white canvas trainers are £16 from Matalan.
I haven't fully decided on the top to wear to the Glamour event, but I want to wear the jeans and trainers, a top and my black biker jacket.
The jumper I have worn already with my black biker jacket and I love these two items together. I'm a fan of cosy knit jumpers :)

This is my more casual chilled out look for spring. The ripped jeans are from H&M for £19.99, the slogan t-shirt is from Hollister in the sale (can't remember the exact price but it was under £10), the pastel green sweater £8.99 from H&M, the pink sunnies a bargain of £2 from Primark and the trainers £12 also from Primark.
I love these trainers. I will be honest and when I first saw them in Primark back in the start of the year I didn't like them. I then saw a video with Naomi Victoria on YouTube and thought they looked much better on her. I then decided to try them on when I next visited Primark and I was surprised how light and comfy they are. I now love wearing them, as I love a bit of pink and they are like laced up clouds for your feet!

This last outfit is what I plan on wearing to see Derren Brown (and stay in a fancy hotel to which Dan has not told what it is!). I found the skirt in the sale in New Look for £10 and totally love the floral patches on it. I have teamed this with a red high neck top with bell sleeves from Topshop for £19.
I will also wear some black tights and my heeled velvet feel ankle boots from Dorothy Perkins (now in the sale for £10!). Finished with my black Biba handbag from House of Fraser (got it last year so don't think it's for sale anymore-soz).

Like my previous post disclaimed I am no fashion whizz, but I hope these looks have perhaps been some inspiration!

I'd love to know what you're rocking this spring! Leave a comment below to let me know!

As always thanks for coming by.

Love and hugs,
