Outfits of the Week- Sunday

I class my blog under the term of 'Lifestyle blogger'. Now if I'm honest, I think that is a term used when you do not class yourself as one type of blog ie, fashion, beauty, food etc.
And yes I feel that reflects my blog as it is a mixture of 'here's where I went/what I brought/what I am loving' type of blogs.

But one thing I feel is lacking is my love for fashion and clothes. I do love seeking out new items, browsing shops and a bit of online retail therapy as much as the next girl. So I aim to address the balance and bring you a week of OOTD (outfits of the day to those like me who used to not have a clue!).

Being that the weather seems to be on the favourable side it's the perfect opportunity to share with you my favourite looks at the moment. Please don't be expecting designer labels or anything super on trend as my bank account does not stretch that far. More showing you what I wear that sums up my style and how I wear certain looks.

So today I opted for my new dungaree dress from Sainsburys and teamed it with a black and white stripe t-shirt from Primark. With that I wore my Converse trainers and finished with my red leather tassel back pack. Simple, comfy and very much me.
I will admit I tried various different t-shirts on under the dungarees before I settled on this t-shirt. But that's the great thing with dungarees almost any top goes with it. Even shirts worn casually over the top. Very versatile.

As always there is no affiliate scheme here or sponsor ship. These are my own clothes. But if you would like to know where you can find them online you can check out the dungaree dress here, Converses can be brought in a whole variety of shops but I got mine from John Lewis.
The t-shirt is for sale in Primark and is in their basic tee range so sure you'll find it in any Primark store and the back pack is from Topshop (saw Zoella have one so I got one too!- but appears to be out of stock *sad face*).

Please come back tomorrow to see Monday's OOTD!

Lot's of love,

  1. Love this outfit. I've only just got into the whole pinafore, dungaree dress thing.. (I am a total jeans lover through and through!lol) The stripped top goes perfectly. :)
I too class myself loosely as a lifestyle blogger. I just feel it's the easiest, as you're then 'free' to blog and post what you like and not feel you can't due to your genre or blog name. :)

    1. Hi Caroline :) Yes, I like the term lifestyle blogger. I neither good with make up to be a beauty blogger, or a trendsetter to be a fashion blogger or good with cooking for a food blogger, so a lifestyle blogger suits me fine!

I'm currently wearing jeans today as it's more autumnal weather then summer, but I like to try new things every so often (but I don't always get it right!).

Thanks for your comments and for stopping by!

      Abbie :) xx
