July Favs

Woo hoo! Monthly favs time! This month has been pretty busy with work and has resulted in the beginning of the month going post crazy, then tailing off. I'm finding that once I take my foot of the gas, as it were, it's harder to get back on track with posting.
I don't know if any other bloggers feel the same way. I guess trying to work full time, have some free time and blog is a fine balance.

But I didn't want to miss out on a monthly favs, so here I am on a Sunday evening writing this blog. I do enjoy my blog so keeping it fresh is important to me. #dedicationtothecause

So let me begin with some make up favs....

First off I brought this eyeshadow in a make up outlet in Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. This is by Estee Lauder in the shade 35 Hot Cinnamon. I love the colour, which is an ashy brown with a faint hint of gold. I tend to wear golds, bronzes and browns on my eyes. I think they compliment my brown eyes.
I've not brought an eyeshadow from Estee Lauder before, so I was excited to give this a go. It applies easily and lasts as well. I think for the simple fact it was £17 originally (I brought it for £12). A more high quality eyeshadow.
I love the casing too. Who doesn't like a bit of gold in their make up collection!

This eye shadow palette is by Love Rosie from Marks and Spencers. I was instantly drawn to the rose gold packaging. So pretty! Inside are four equally pretty shades. Two lighter shades, a shimmery purple and a brown. Ideal for some colour whilst keeping it simple.
I would definitely recommend this as it looks amazing and wears really well.
This I believe is £16.

I was looking for a new mascara and originally went for the false lash effect by Max Factor, but after the brush head got stuck in the barrel I exchanged it for this False Lash Telescopic mascara by L'Oreal.
This is so good! It coats every lash and doesn't clump either. The brush is quite fine, but it still delivers a good coating of mascara. I don't know what the Max Factor one was like but this one was worth getting. My go to mascara!
This mascara is £10.99 from Superdrug.

After seeing numerous youtube videos and reviews for the Anastastia Dipbrow Pomade I thought i'd join the club. I've not yet tried it as I'm currently trying to use up my current eyebrow colour, but I'm looking forward to see if this lives up to the hype.
That and if I can apply it well!
This I got from Beauty Bay for £15.

My husband kindly treated me to three Pandora rings. I love Pandora and have been collecting the charms and bracelets for a few years now. Pandora recently had an offer where you purchase two rings and you get the third one free. Considering Pandora can be pricey we thought this was a deal too good to miss.

There was a selection of rings on display and I chose three pink ones. One with a pink flower, one with small stones and one with larger pink stones.
I think they look so pretty and I love how they look stacked together. I'm very thankful to my husband for such a generous gift (though I did say I'd pay half!).

Model from website
I recently brought some items from BooHoo. I find they normally have a £1.99 next day delivery service, so it's easy to purchase items to get the very next day!
I did purchase some pink jogger style trousers which I wore for one day. They are now relegated to the back of my wardrobe. The model on the website made them look so cool, but on me they looked dumpy and not very flattering. Shame really, but I just couldn't pull them off.
Anyway I did have some joy with my order and I got this pink and black flecked jersey swing dress. Super comfy and easy to wear.

In this photo I have team it with my Converse high tops and a white floral necklace to add some detail.
I also thought Tanya Burr's new eyeshadow palette in Enchanted Dream and her lip gloss in Martha Moo would compliment the outfit. Finished with a spritz of perfume and sunglasses and I'm good to go for a casual day look.

And that is what I have been really loving this month. A small but perfectly formed selection. Please do let me know what you have been loving this month and remember you're welcome to follow me on Bloglovin'.

Lot's of love,
